Hi friends! I was thinking about no-churn ice cream ideas the other day, and I was also thinking about colours and pretty things, so I thought I’d make a recipe for a no-churn unicorn ice cream (vanilla-flavoured). It didn’t turn out as perfect as I’d hoped, but next time I know to add WAY more vanilla – I’ve gone from 2 tsp to 4 tsp of vanilla for this recipe.

No-Churn Unicorn Ice Cream

Makes approx 2L. Contains dairy/lactose.

Ingredients/What You Will Need

Method

  1. Whip thickened cream until soft peaks form. Add vanilla essence.
  2. Fold in condensed milk, slowly (folding helps get that airy ice cream texture).
  3. Add salt.
  4. Split the ice cream mixture into 3 bowls.
  5. Add colouring to each bowl: 1 pink, 1 blue, 1 yellow. Mix to the desired colour.
  6. Layer each ice cream colour into a container, pink, blue, yellow, pink, blue, yellow, and so on.
  7. Swirl the top of the ice cream.
  8. Set in the fridge for at least 6 hours.
  9. Enjoy with some sprinkles!
