My Review

I kept seeing this cafe come up on lots of dog Instagram accounts, and so we thought we’d better check it out! The staff were absolutely lovely. We went one Saturday morning around 8:30 AM, and we pretty much had the whole courtyard to ourselves. People started to trickle in as time went on (it was during the New Year’s period, so that could be why it was quiet).

The food was lovely, the poached eggs didn’t all come out perfectly but I can’t blame them for that as poached eggs are really hard to get right 1000% of the time, especially if they’re ready to go and the wait staff are busy. I had the Middle of the Earth brunch plate, and it was yummy. I enjoyed the Halloumi and gave Luke my mushrooms because I hate the texture of mushrooms. Luke had the big breakfast, and the plates had so much food on them – this would be a great place to come if you are hungover and are in dire need of a hangover cure. The olives were my favourite part of my plate – I really like salty and sour things right now (probably due to the suspected POTS LOL).

The coffees were good, I enjoyed the ice cream in mine as it was a hot morning. Benji downed his dog cookie and puppachino (he made a mini vlog on his IG – benjibear_thecorgi), and he even got his polaroid taken to be put on the photo wall.

I really liked the atmosphere, the fact that the plates were loaded with so much food, the lovely staff, and how all the doggos get their photo taken. I will definitely go back to try something sweet next time. I think I would have just liked a bigger glass for my iced drink.

Here are some photos!
