Melbourne Eats: My Oh My, Richmond Review
Hello! Welcome back to another Melbourne Eats blog on Eats With Ash! If you’d like to check out some other ones, you can do so via the “Melbourne Eats” category. In today’s blog, we’re reviewing the cafe “My Oh My” in Richmond, Melbourne. Richmond was one of the first suburbs I ever lived in, and my doctor’s office is over that side of town, so whenever I have an appointment, we usually stop for brunch/lunch somewhere afterwards. And this Monday, I definitely needed a pick-me-up. I’ve never had a bad experience at this cafe but when I used to walk to my old corporate job in Richmond, it was always SOOOO busy. That didn’t stop the baristas from always smiling at everyone who walked past, though. It was also a place that Luke and I went to a lot when we didn’t live together so I guess I’m just raving about this cafe because it’s cool.

My Review
Yes, I am very bias for this cafe because I always love the food here and the staff are so nice. We had Benji with us so we sat outside and I was about to go grab some menus, but a waiter came straight out with some and water so it was super quick. I’m guessing Mondays aren’t their most busy days so this was probably faster than normal. And it was good because I didn’t have to get up again after sitting down.
I wasn’t sure how the strawberry skin food smoothie was going to taste as it had collagen in it, but it tasted like heaven. In hindsight, I probably should have gotten a coffee too because later that day, I had a caffeine withdrawal headache. The only thing with my smoothie is that I would have liked it to be a bit bigger. The food was delicious, having French Toast made with a croissant made it feel so silky smooth as I took a bite. The strawberries and meringue pieces on top were to die for and Luke enjoyed his perfectly poached eggs. The hash browns were super crunchy and even Benji approved. YUM.
Here’s some pics!

Thanks for reading! What’s your favourite cafe?

By chance is Benji a Corgi? Either way, so cute! These dishes are making my mouth water, yum.
