Hello! Welcome back to another Melbourne Eats blog on Eats With Ash! If you’d like to check out some other ones, you can do so via the “Melbourne Eats” category. In today’s blog, we’re going to be reviewing the cafe Saint Lloyd located in Strathmore.

On Monday, my partner Luke and I took our dog Benji down to a dog park in Strathmore and decided to stop for some brunch/lunch on the way back and we are so glad we did because this cafe is something super special.

Location: 5A Lloyd Street, Strathmore, VIC 3041
Opening Hours: M – W: 8 AM – 2:30 PM, Fri – Sat: 8 AM – 2:30 PM, then 5:30 PM – 9 PM for dinner, Sun: 8 AM – 2:30 PM
Price Range: $20 – $40 pp
Cuisine: Brunch/Lunch & Italian for Dinner

My Review

I have been wanting to go to this cafe for a while now, seeing the food online and I was SOOOO happy we went here. The Iced Mocha I got tasted like a chocolate milkshake, it was so yummy. The French Toast was so delicious, it even had an ice cream cone and made me feel super fancy. The flavour combination of everything on my plate was perfection. I didn’t get to try Luke’s smashed avo, but the presentation was an A+, and it had my favourite thing to add to smashed avo – pomegranate seeds. Luke said it was refreshingly scrumptious.

A big thank you to the staff too, they were super lovely and they absolutely loved Benji – he got a giant puppachino and one of the waiter’s gave it to him and she was so excited, he did a sit and was the most well behaved he’s ever been at a cafe.

I really liked this cafe, and I am definitely going back to try more things off their menu. I’d be interested to see what their dinner menu is like.
