My Favourite New Zealand Snacks!

Hello friends! I haven’t really been making a whole lotta food lately so I thought we could take a look at some of my favourite NZ snacks that I’ve been missing while in Australia. I have so many favourite snacks from both countries but NZ snacks will forever be the best (soz, Aussie).

Griffin’s Mallowpuffs – the closest Australia has are probably Royals but they just don’t taste the same
Anything by Lewis Road Creamery – there’s a shop at South Melbourne Markets that has been getting some NZ stock so Luke and I will check that place out eventually
L&P – I know you can get it here but the supermarkets close to us don’t always have it and it’s REALLY refreshing in summer. Luke will disagree because he’s a Solo Kid all the way, but I definitely love L&P
Cookie Time – They’re delish, especially warmed up in the microwave
Jelly Tip Ice Cream – Omg my favourite! It’s ALWAYS the first thing I buy whenever I go back to NZ (and mum always has them in the freezer for me when we go hehe, thanks mum)
Whittaker’s Jelly Tip Chocolate – You can get this here online and apparently it’s really yummy frozen too but I’ve yet to try that. It’s also really expensive, damn cocoa!
Pinky Chocolate Bar – I don’t know why I love this so much, it’s basically like a chocolate fish but with caramel inside. I miss this one a lot
Cooper Kettle Wood Fired BBQ chips – I’m not usually a big fan of BBQ flavoured stuff (I mean I like BBQ shapes) but these ones I would just demolish – and I do love chippies a lot
FRUJUS – So good in summer! If you’re a kiwi, do you call them ice blocks or icy poles?
NZ pies – Sorry Australia, I know you love your meat pies too but the NZ ones just taste SOOO much nicer (even if they’re just frozen ones from the supermarket)
RJ’s licorice, specifically the Raspberry Chocolate Log, it’s YUM!
Kiwi Onion Dip – but you gotta make it like the Maggi website says “here“
Bluebird Burger Rings (they just taste better than the Australian version)
