My Review

I am going to start with the vibe of the cafe, it was very cute both inside and out. The staff were super friendly and in good spirits. It didn’t take long for our drinks or food to come out and I liked that we could sit near the window and watch the world go by. There was also an option to sit outside, but we went at like 9 am on a Saturday morning and it was a bit cold. The tables inside were quite close to each other so you could hear other people’s conversations, and I always felt like I was in the way of other people, but hey, that could just be me.

The Matcha Chai Latte was delicious, it was like having a spiced Matcha and it just tasted perfect to me. Luke really liked the coffee too. And the pricing was pretty good here. Some meals were a bit closer to $30 but a coffee in a big mug for $5 felt like a steal in today’s cost of living crisis.

For our brunch meals, I felt mine was just okay, it’s what I expected, a traditional eggs benedict but it was lacking flavour, it didn’t feel like it had anything special about it. I liked the Hollaindaise, but the rest was just a bit bland. It would probably be good for a hangover meal. In contrast, Luke absolutely loved his avo on toast, it was packed with flavour and had everything you would want for a flavourful avo on toast meal. Feta, capers, and more! I wish I ordered what he did hehe.

I would definitely go back here, especially for a takeaway coffee or maybe a pastry and yes, I would go back for brunch but I would order something different. I’ve heard good things about their hash browns but I didn’t get to try it this time and I am a big lover of hash browns – it’s what I love ordering from Maccas hehe.

There are also plenty of vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options!!
