The Best Donut Spots in Melbourne

Hello eats with ash crew! Are you like me and you absolutely LOVE donuts? Well, I’ve curated a lost of the best donut spots in Melbourne. Hope you enjoy!

Dope Donuts & Desserts, Brunswick West – One of my favourite donut shops, they serve all things dough, think donuts, cookies, cookie dough, acai bowls, waffles, ice cream, and even the viral Dubai chocolate. They’re also open every day from 12pm – 10pm to get your sweet treat fix.
Daniel’s Donuts, multiple locations – I LOVE Daniel’s Donuts so much, and I wish we had one closer to our house, or maybe I don’t because I would just eat too many donuts. I might need to buy a treadmill. My favourite flavour is the vanilla slice donut.
The Oakleigh Donut Co (TODCO) – multiple locations including Chadstone, South Yarra, Oakleigh, & Richmond. TODCO has soo many options – there’s something for everyone!
All Day Donuts, Brunswick – Everything is made on site from scratch and they even have merchandise!
Moon Cruller, Fitzroy – only open Sat/Sun from 8am – 3pm. Moon Cruller is brought to you by the creators of Lune, and they specialise in crullers which are “crispy rings of deep-fried choux pastry that are tossed in a sugar or glazed with a flavour of choice.”
American Donut Kitchen, QVM – Have you ever walked past this food truck at the Queen Victoria Market (QVM) and you’re just like omg, it smells so heavenly. Great donuts, but there’s always a long line. Don’t worry, it’s worth the wait. American Donut Kitchen is known for its hot jam donuts.
Bistro Morgan, Windsor – Yep, that really young chef who was on Dessert Masters. He makes good donuts. We once had some when they were available at our favourite brunch spot – Convoy in Moonee Ponds, so I definitely recommend giving them a try. They are really tasty!
Lukumades, West Melbourne – A spot for yummy Greek donuts! So many fun flavours to try.
Rustica, Fitzroy – Not just a donut shop, it’s a whole bread shop, and omg they have amazing sourdough. You gotta check them out for ALL things pastry, and don’t forget a donut!
Demochi, Bourke Street, CBD – “Started in 2019 as a passion project by husband & wife team, Dennis and Monique created the first original mochi donut in Australia”. If you like mochi and donuts, this shop is for you. They’re like bubbly donuts.
