My Favourite Aussie Snacks (As A Kiwi)

Hello! I’ve lived in Melbourne, Australia for 3+ years now, which is crazy, and I definitely miss a lot of my Kiwi Snacks, but I’ve become very fond of many Aussie Snacks so this blog post is dedicated to all my favourite Aussie snacks (as a kiwi). Please enjoy!!

My Favourite Aussie Snacks (As A Kiwi)

First of ALL, some Aussie Snacks you can get in New Zealand (like TimTams and Shapes) but they still deserve to be on this list! I have also done blogs similar to this one over on asheycakes and my YouTube channel.

Double Coated TimTams – These are my favourite TimTams, I love them so much and I find them superior to all the other TimTams BUT why are there less in the packet?? Is there less because they’re double coated? Personally, I think there should be more.
Pizza Shapes – I love Shapes in general but the ones that I always eat the whole box are definitely Pizza Shapes and that might be controversial BUT they are delish.
Chocolate Scotch Fingers – I didn’t know I was going to enjoy these so much but I did.
Caramello Koala – Who doesn’t love chocolate with caramel inside? AND, it’s shaped like a koala. I also love a Freddo Frog still BUT the fact that there’s choices over here, is so fun.
Solo – I’m always going to prefer L&P because that sh*t is great, but solo is very refreshing in summer and it helps when you get dehydrated. However, Hard Solo is absolutely disgusting, don’t drink it, yucky.
Connoisseur Ice Cream – My favourite flavours are Chocolate Brownie & Belgian Chocolate and I am fussy when it comes to ice cream so this is a great ice cream when living in Australia. Oh, and the Rocky Road sticks are great too!!
Darrell Lea White Chocolate Raspberry Bullets – These are just a great snack, I enjoy the texture and how they feel when I chew on them. The only issue I have with these are that they tend to be sooo expensive for such small packets.
Anna Polyviou’s Cookie Dough – Raspberry Donut – The best thing about this is you can eat the cookie dough raw or cooked, both are delish and these cookies are a great shark week snack.
Red Rock Deli Potato Chips – Sweet Chilli & Sour Cream AND Thai Chilli & Lime – I will forever love chips.
Smith’s Potato Chips – Chilli AND Salt & Vinegar
Tyrrells Crisps (all the flavours) – These chips are probably one of the closer ones to NZ chips and based on that, I like them. Plus, they are fun flavours.
Mersey Valley Cheddar Cheese (Salt & Vinegar) – Expensive BUT delicious and it’s great for charcuterie boards.
Twix Cookies – (I am not sure if it counts as Australian as they are made in the UK, BUT they are delish and there should be more in the packet).
